although i'm going back to my home country for a month, i'm very excited to go to AE con!!!!
if you guys haven't known yet, AE con (like other cons i guess) is holding an AE-chan 2009 mascot contest --> [link]
basically, follow the rules, design the mascot, and hope to win the gorgeous prizes
they're very explicit and precise about what they want so be sure to read carefully

anyway, here is my version of AE-chan
as you can see i was going for the sci-fi high-tech kind of design, which i think is not good enough OTL
i had real trouble deciding whether to add the wings or not, but turns out i did
one thing that probably stands out is cable overload lol, good thing she doesn't look like an octopus
some mistakes i almost forgot to correct were adding the orange "ribbons", purple hair, and using a CMYK format

if you think there are any other flaws, please do comment away
i don't bite at least LOL joke
