he gave/donated me another year of subscription for DA
soooooo, in return for his kind generosity, i would draw anything for him on christmas. he requested a sexy levy (levy's his fave character from fairy tail! squee!) and i put in a holiday theme going of course.

i really love how this turned out!
i wanted levy to look like she came out of big present (any guesses for who? hurrhurrhurr) with ribbons and shiny balls spilling out. i guess it doesn't make sense without the cover but i was lazy lmao. it's too bad her right hand/arm pressing against the floor looks weird. it seems too stiff to me. u__u

at first i had a really hard time matching colors (mostly cos levy's hair is blue and stands out) but using gold and light yellow worked really well. added a few details like gold lining/stitching on the gloves and boots, some patterns on the ribbons. i had a ton of fun coloring, esp. the white fur and the glittery balls.
