i was so bored last night, so i did a wallpaper of one of my face characters (seth) from the Trinity Blood MANGA
seth, beautifully illustrated by Kiyo Kyujyo, is so cute yet mature at the same time XD
i really like the manga version of seth better than the anime version bec. she does not look terribly like 5 year-old child
plus, attention to detail is superb!
it takes some adjustment to understand the panelling of the first volume, but the rest is great!

i loved this wall so much, i am using it right now!

about the deviation...
it took me 2 hours to get the right outcome :\
i was having trouble combining plant-like brushes and lace patterns
i discarded the laces and stuck with the plant brushes
as for the bg, i was playing around with the mask layer and i used two filters (the fiber filter and the kaleidescope filter) to bring out that grassy feel
i used green as the main color cos seth is the ruler of the methuselah (aka vampires) and green is solely reserved for the ruler/empress
when i was creating several versions of the wallpaper, i found it hard to just change the hues bec. the colors go crazy (creating unwanted scratch marks >__> )
i used the "color balance" adjustment in photoshop to get the right color and luminosity wihout killing the colors
