the scene can be interpreted in many ways, such as: zel is FINALLY going to stay in seyruun, zel is coming back from another of this "trips", zel is keeping a promise with amelia, zel is being a romantic for once, etc. etc.
all i wanted to do was portray a scene that was influenced by reading too much fanfiction
The phrases/sentences between the panels are from the song "Without You" by Rebecca Hollcraft (or Becca)
I LOVE HER SONGS

I was going to do another colored fanart but i wanted to take a break from all that coloring X___X
i will apologize that it looks too simple
i wanted somthing easy to do
my favorite scene is when amelia welcomes him home (i'm amazed how well i did that, or at least i think so cos i like it a lot o____o)

the shading/coloring/toning is done rather complex
first i colored the drawing in grayscale, separated the really black colors from the relatively grey ones into different layers
then i applied a japanese tone filter called "amitone" to create a tone-like texture/appeal
it looks good but i still need more practice with the filter
some of the effects were done in mangastudio (like the focus lines, speed lines, hazing and flower effects)
so now i use three programs: opencanvas (for lineart), photoshop, and mangastudio (for special manga effects)
i use PS a lot but the other two are still crucial
